     Bacteriological Agar is extracted from red seaweed by advanced technology.  It is a highly purified product in world agar market and requires strict physical-chemical control.  Its quality should reach the following requirements: Such as good solubility; better transparency in both solution and gel form; contains less electronegativity group in agar molecular; must not contain anything that might inhibit the growth of bacteria nor should they contain any bacterial spores; absence of hemolytic substance and does not interact with the rest of media components or cause pigment changes or precipitation formation.
