Cold Water Soluble Carrageenan
To meet the Market’s special features demands of Carrageenan, Our company has developed two types of new carrageenan.One type is a new Kappa carrageenan and the other is a new Iota carrageenan.
The new species both can soluble in cold water absolutely, and gelling temperature is lower than room temperature (20℃), while the other capabilities are the same as general refined carrageenan.
The new species specially can be used in some difficult areas which general carrageenan can not be applied in.
I. As toothpaste stabilizer: the new species are applicable to the cold process of toothpaste (while the general carrageenan can not be applied because they are insoluble in cold water)
II. As the main gelling components of capsule, the new species can replace the gelatin to produce vegetative hard capsule and soft capsule, and there is no need to change the production equipment, while the general carrageenan, for its high freezing point, it is very difficult to adapt to the usual production equipment.
III. The new species are applicable to the products which need to modulate thickener or gelling with cold water.
IV. Applicable to the cosmetics such as mask
